Flyer
Many of us pulled together to back the London bid, we should now back the logo as it is ours and here to stay. It represents us to the world. This is the backdrop to a flyer I made that I left all around Bristol.

Find the logo (A1 POSTER)
Whilst looking into the 2012 logo and why its caused such a stir, I asked 20 people to give me a one word response to the logo. One word that came up a lot was ‘smashed’. Another was ‘explosive’. incorporated these two words together and created this design as my own response. Try and find the logo within.
I love it
My personal interpretation of the 2012 Olympic logo.
I think the logo is extremely British and fits London perfectly. London is the forefront of design and is a city based on change and moving forward. The logo reflects this idea of ‘new design’. The logo works big, small, as an animation and can be altered easily to fit in with other designs.
We backed the bid, now its time to back the logo. I am of course talking about the 2012 Olympic logo for London. I am a fan of the logo and think its had an unfair response since being released. Logos are about identity and association, this logo hasn’t had any ‘real’ associations yet as the Olympic games are still a future prospect. The meaning of the logo will therefore change during and after the games but for now we should support the design because it is ours.
